Would you like to do something original in Barcelona and don’t know where to go?
Here, in Weekly Villas we suggest you the best rooftops in Barcelona so that you don’t hesitate any longer.

Sky Bar Plaza Cataluña
Starting in the city centre, we take you to Plaza de Cataluña, the most famous and crowded square in the Catalan capital. Surrounded by buildings we find the Iberostar building, where we will discover an incredible place in the heart of Barcelona. Going up to the terrace, we find the Sky Bar of Plaza Cataluña. On this terrace they serve all kinds of cocktails, wines, soft drinks and even tapas for the hungriest. The entrance is free and accessible to everyone, but the long swimming pool is for the exclusive use of hotel guests.

Panoramic terrace Hotel Colón
Continuing with one of the most impressive rooftops in Barcelona, we now take you to the Barcelona Cathedral in the Gothic Quarter of the city. Right in front of the imposing cathedral, you will find the Hotel Colón, whose rooftop will leave you in awe. This panoramic terrace has unique and privileged views of the cathedral, where you can order cocktails and have a drink while you enjoy the most historic and artistic part of Barcelona. Entrance to the terrace is completely free and it is not necessary to be a hotel guest to enjoy its charm. Moreover, reservations are not accepted, so tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dolce Vita terrace, Hotel Majestic
Next up is the Dolce Vita terrace at the Hotel Majestic, located in Paseo de Gracia. This bar is located on a huge rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the whole city and has a swimming pool (only for hotel guests) and a large space where you can relax. This bar offers a unique menu, created by chef Nandu Jubany, which can be accompanied by a wide selection of wines, champagne and cocktails. They also offer DJ sessions, especially on summer nights, so you can enjoy an incredible night out in the centre of Barcelona. This rooftop in Barcelona is open every day, from Sunday to Thursday from 10am to midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 1:30am.

Terrace Hotel Pulitzer
To finish with our recommendations, we move on to the Hotel Pulitzer, also in the heart of the city centre and just a few metres from Plaza Catalunya. This terrace has a unique plan: they offer live music on Wednesdays every week, while on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the terrace belongs to the guest DJs. On Mondays and Tuesdays, on the other hand, the terrace is set by the Hotel Pulitzer’s Spotify playlist. This bar offers a wide selection of cocktails prepared on the spot by their waiters, and for food lovers they have a menu prepared by their chef Marc Pérez, which offers everything from Mediterranean appetizers to sharing platters. Entry to this rooftop in Barcelona is also free and open to everyone, but no reservations are taken and tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
