Barcelona is a city that stands out for its thousand and one activities. Today we want to talk about the Barcelona best museums that you can’t miss.

 

We start with a classic in the Catalan capital, the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), located in the Palau Nacional de Montjuïc. This museum brings together Medieval, Romanesque, Modern, Renaissance and Baroque works. A real immersion in Catalan art.

Perfect for art lovers, it promotes social and educational use to become a space of knowledge and artistic debate.

Currently, this museum has an exhibition, only until 13 November. It is called Maternasis, and it exhibits works that will allow you to rediscover surprising creators, such as Roser Bru, Parvine Curie, Núria Pompeia, … The entrance to this exhibition costs 4€.

The museum is open from October to April, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm. From May to September, the museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 3pm.
It is closed on Mondays, except for public holidays. Annual museum closing days: 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
