Covid-19 in Spain

Coronavirus, I think that’s the word we’ve heard and repeated the most in the last few days, but what is it? How does this affect us?

Coronavirus is a large family of viruses that can cause disease in animals and humans. COVID-19 is a respiratory condition that can spread from person to person, this virus was first identified during the investigation of an epidemic in Wuhan, China.

This virus is spread mainly from person to person, especially through respiratory droplets that are produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These drops with the virus can settle on different surfaces and objects, and when they are touched, the virus can be incorporated into the hands, then with that same hand, the person touches the mouth, nose or eyes, also to people who they can find nearby and eventually enter the lungs while breathing.

Many people who get the disease have only mild symptoms and do not feel sick, but they are very likely to catch someone with weak symptoms.

Once the disease is over, the excretion phase of the virus begins, with an average duration of 20 days, and recently published research indicates that patients in this phase can still spread the virus.

For all this, some recommendations have been set to follow and not to spread the virus.

Once we’re aware of the situation of covid-19 in Spain and locked up in our homes, we have enough time to prepare for our next holiday.

The warm and pleasant temperature of Sitges and Barcelona will promote the disappearance of the virus thanks to the rise in temperature.

It’s a good time to start thinking about our next trip, after being locked up for so long, we’ll need a well-deserved holiday to enjoy the sun and the beach.

At Weekly Villas, we have mid-range and high range villas, with a capacity of 8 to 16 people. All with private pool, barbecue, relaxation and an outdoor area where you can soak up the sun and relax.
