Transport in Sitges

If you are staying in one of our villas, you may be interested in how to get around the city of Sitges and its closest surroundings. Sitges does not have an internal train or metro.

Our villas are very well located, making it easy to get to the city center on foot. It will be very easy for you to get to the most emblematic places, as well as getting to the beaches. However, some destinations, such as golf and tennis clubs or some of the larger hotels, are slightly outside the center.

From Weekly Villas we want to offer you the different transport services that the city has, so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

INTERURBAN BUS

It is the bus that connects Sitges with the neighboring towns of Sant Pere de Ribes, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Barcelona. There are two companies that do these tours. The Monbus company and the Autocars Plana company.

During the summer season (from June 30 to September 1) Autocars Plana has a bus service to Portaventura.

URBAN BUS IN SITGES

The urban bus is a transport service that crosses all the neighborhoods and sectors of the urban nucleus of Sitges. The concession company is Transports Ciutat Comtal (tel. Transports Ciutat Comtal +34 93 814 4989).

There are 3 lines and all the lines have the RENFE station as their starting point:

GETTING A BICYCLE

Sitges has signposted bike lanes that cross the town. They are red and you have to know that in some sections they are shared with pedestrians. Of course, it is necessary to look for spaces enabled to park the bikes, since in Sitges it is prohibited to tie the bicycles to the streetlights.
